i'm all caught up in superstition
Yerin hadn't known about it before Brian mentioned it (which gave her the sort of feeling like she was living under a rock, or rather, trapped in the training rooms) but apparently there was a Halloween event going on at Lotte World. It didn't take much convincing to get Yerin to accompany her twin and other half to the event- it did take a bit, though, she had been working on a new piece of choreography when he'd asked and it was always difficult to pull her away from it once she'd started. Nonetheless, before she knew it, they'd ended up there, walking around and trying to decide where to go first.

It had all been very exciting and Yerin was looking forward to some much-needed sibling bonding time. That is, until she'd spotted a familiar face through the crowd. Was that Teddy? She squinted against the harsh lights. The weather was nice, so she'd definitely have to go to the outdoor bit first and work her way back in toward the entrance after. Yeah, it was definitely him. Yerin grinned.

She glanced over at Brian, and then back over at Teddy. It wouldn't hurt if she invited her friend to hang out with them right? He looked like he was alone, anyway. And if she just ran over for a moment, she definitely wouldn't lose Brian in the crowd. Definitely. One hundred percent.

She'd convinced herself, anyway, and so without thinking to actually warn Brian that she'd be going somewhere for a moment, you know, to lessen the chances of losing him, she ran through the crowd and attacked her friend and labelmate with a hug. It was very... Canadian of her. She needed to stop doing stuff like that. It wasn't as normal here. But hey, it was Yerin's way of greeting, at least to people she liked and was relatively close to. "Teddy!" she announced in English, stepping away to let her friend breathe. Had he gotten taller? "What're you doing here?" Maybe it was obvious what he was doing there, but what she really wanted to know was if he was already hanging out with someone. "Me and Brian are-" she paused in order to gesture to where she thought her twin would be, only to see that he was nowhere in sight. "...uh."

Maybe she should've said something after all?

Teddy wasn't there alone at Lotte World. No, of course he wasn't. He would never go to such a crowded and useless place by himself for something like fun. Not that he didn't know how to have fun, but he had more important things to do than indulge in the festivities of Halloween and the days leading up to the nonsense holiday. No, he was of course cornered to accompany his elder sister who wanted someone to escort her through the place while she stuffed her face on cotton candy and shot demons with a water pistol. Wasn't she supposed to be older than him? You'd never know it by how she acted, certainly not by her height either.

But thankfully, Teddy had gotten a moment to escape while she was preoccupied with a random flash performance in the middle of the square. While her attention was deviated, Teddy inched further and further away until he knew he could run without alerting her attention. Or so he hoped because she turned her head at the last moment, just long enough to see him dart off and subsequently heard Andi shout his name in the distance. He was going to hear about this later, for sure, but.... he had studying to do. Teddy didn't have time for such frivolities!

Though that was probably his own damn fault for deciding to keep going with his degree instead of just dropping out like a smart person in his position would've done. Between school, idolship, taking care of his group-mates, and jumping to his sister's every beck-and-call, it was a wonder that he had any time for himself at all... actually, he didn't! So when he was finally away, Teddy thought he could finally breathe again, despite walking through the crowd of a million people, some of which probably recognized him, while others just thought of him as another random park-goer. They left him alone, in any case, and that was just fine by him. Just give him a few hours to wander by himself, and he'll come pick up Andi and take her home (not without getting an earful, but the few moments of peace were well worth it).

Though..... that peace didn't seem to last for long. Teddy never saw it coming, never heard it either until the last moment when someone literally glomped onto him from behind. His heart jumped from the surprise and he cringed, almost positive that he'd been attacked by a rabid fan, or worse, his sister had finally found him and was intent on squeezing the life out of him! When he heard the voice speak his name, however, he dared to relax.... only slightly though.

He turned around sharply to look at the girl (of course it was a girl, girls always had to greet so excitedly like that) and then shush her a little bit as he looked around them to make sure that Andi hadn't somehow heard his name with her hypersensitive selective hearing only to coming running after him. "I'm hiding, keep it down, twerp." Because she was definitely a twerp. He didn't think so years ago when they were still kids (though she still was a kid, wasn't she?), but now she was definitely a shortie in comparison, and Teddy couldn't help feeling that sense of superiority over her. But anyway, he crouched down slightly, not wanting to stay in one place too long lest he be found out.

Though... what was she doing? ".......are you lost, little girl?" he said blandly, crossing his arms as he gave her a mundane stare. "Do I need to take you to the lost-and-found to find your mommy?" Teddy patted her head with the flat of his hand. Poor thing, it was so dumb!

Yerin could feel Teddy cringe slightly when she first approached (perhaps a better word usage would be 'attacked', but that's not how she saw it) him, but he seemed to relax once he realised it was her. It was Halloween after all, so maybe he was a bit jumpy. Still, even after turning to look at her, Teddy had shushed her almost immediately and then looked around like someone who'd been caught doing something bad and was trying to avoid suspicion. It wasn't the most inconspicuous thing in the world. He looked a bit like a cartoon villain. Yerin couldn't help but giggle slightly at the idea.

Still, he could've done with a little more excitement in seeing her. Maybe it was just Yerin's extroversion, but she was always happy to see Teddy, even though they did work in the same company, and in sibling groups no less (though Yerin still hadn't debuted, which was a bit annoying especially in consideration of her competitive side). Yerin frowned slightly and raised an eyebrow at her friend's comment. "Hiding? From what?" she looked around briefly, and then a grin spread slowly onto her face. "Are you scared you're gonna get attacked by zombies or something?" Suddenly, she had visions of a terrified Teddy being chased by costumed theme park employees, and it was very amusing.

To be honest, Yerin wouldn't deal well with those types of things either, but that wasn't the point. As long as she could keep it together and pretend not to be freaked out when something creepy approached her, it'd be fine - it wasn't like she was scared in general, it was more so the... jump scares that got her. She wasn't a scaredy-cat in most cases. Halloween was just a super creepy time of year, okay?

There was a more important point to worry about now, though - had he seriously just called her a twerp? "What d'you mean, twerp?" she questioned, annoyance clear in her voice. When they'd first met, he'd been smaller than her, and yet he had the guts to say that just because he was older? "Just because you finally had a growth spurt doesn't mean...." she huffed slightly, glaring up at him, irritated that she had to look up to meet his gaze at all, and even more irritated when he crouched down to meet hers.

At least she had something to hold over him - whatever he was hiding from, he'd have to be a bit nicer to her if she was going to keep quiet like he wanted. She probably wouldn't do anything, but he didn't need to know that. She mirrored him when he crossed his arms, swatting away his hand when he patted her head like she was some kind of dog or lost child. "I was here with Brian, but he disappeared." she said, looking over her shoulder again in hopes of seeing him somewhere in the crowd (she didn't). Well, technically it was her own fault, as it was her who had done the disappearing act and not him, but... still. If he'd been paying attention, he could've followed her! Or maybe he'd seen someone he knew too? Yerin hoped so. She'd feel a little bad if he was wandering around aimlessly on his own the whole night, looking for her... but if that was the case, she was sure that he would bump into her at some point. It'd be fine! Probably.

Teddy was about to tell Yerin just what it was that he was hiding from, but then she had to go and invent her own theory, to which Teddy simply gave her a deadpanned stare at the ridiculousness of the suggestion. "Zombies.... right..." he said blandly, only the slightest amused by the stupidity presented in front of him. "You would think that, would you?" Teddy rolled his eyes and rubbed his temple with the tips of his fingers. "Why in the hell would I be scared of what ultimately amounts to a buffoon in a mask who never grew out of their attention-getting phase?" Because that's all these circus freaks were, attention seekers. Pretty much everyone in entertainment was, but at least those who were musicians or actors could do it with some set amount of skill. These sort of carnies were no better than comedians who had no redeeming skills, and so resorted to making themselves and others the butt of poorly times, bad jokes.

Teddy didn't find very many things scary... or no, to be fair, he found the entirety of the human race positively terrifying, and he wondered just how much longer they would last as a species if they continued down the track of weakest-link-dominating. This was exactly the reason why Teddy refused to interact with people more than he had to, and why he preferred locking himself up in the engineering lab all night over staying at the dorm where he would be forced to help at least ten people with something they were too stupid to figure out themselves. Some of said people had no business being at the Quicksilver dorm in the first place!

But digressions aside, Teddy was not afraid of any of the ridiculous things at this theme park. Except for his sister, that was the real threat!

"Did I stutter?" he returned to her protest. "Short is short, and a twerp is a twerp. And you happen to be both, you should be proud." Maybe he did feel some manner of pride that he'd finally outgrown the girl he met so many years ago, who was the sole one responsible for breaking his hand! That she whapped his hand away, admittedly, brought a smirk to his lips. "Cute small things should actually be cute," he continued. Not like his sister who was a goddamn wolf in sheep's clothing. He couldn't see how anyone could define that compact monster as "cute".

Following his targeted inquiry, Teddy raised an eyebrow when he heard that her brother was also roaming around there somewhere. He and Brian were.... sort of friends. He was less annoying than Taehyun, at least, but still unnecessarily overdramatic... it was no wonder those two got along so well. But Brian was not really someone he was looking forward to dealing with if he should show up... then again, Yerin wasn't someone he wanted to deal with either, and she'd already shown up. "I see.... you mean you got distracted and he left you behind," Teddy deciphered whatever attempt she tried to make at preserving her "innocent" image. Teddy knew her too well to believe that Brian simply "disappeared" and ran off, it was more likely the other way around. Or rather, it was more likely the both of them just got distracted and left each other behind, they were twins after all.

Teddy sighed, shaking his head slightly (and somewhat amusedly). "Alright, I get it..." he breathed, nudging Yerin's shoulder to turn her around and continuing to push her forward while he followed behind. "I guess I'll help you look for him. You probably can't see high enough above the crowd anyway and will more likely get trampled even more if left alone, so I guess I have no choice." And still, accompanying Yerin was still more favorable to waiting to be found by his older sister.

Teddy had this way of always making Yerin feel like an idiot, or a little kid - or both. She didn't know how he managed it, but he did, and she didn't appreciate it. With just about everyone else, she was the rational one, but with him, she somehow got demoted to the stupid and energetic one. How did that happen? Then again, she may have always gotten annoyed about it, but she was still hanging out with him now and again, and making a point to say hi when she saw him, so... in the end, wasn't it at least partially her fault?

"You must be loads of fun at parties," Yerin commented at her friend's cynicism, as if she were the type of person to attend parties and to know about what types of people were fun at them (she didn't, but that didn't mean she was stupid enough to think that someone with that attitude would be a welcome addition to one, either). "You take things way too seriously, you know that?" Teddy was the only person she knew who would overthink something thoughtless to that degree. Maybe it was an endearing quality and meant he could be thoughtful about other things too, but she somehow doubted it.

"So you've made a decisive effort at letting me know you're not scared of zombies... unless that was your way of trying to hide the fact that you are, which, while an amusing idea, I doubt...." Yerin pondered, finally getting back to the point which had somehow been avoided, "...so what is it that you're hiding from?" or who, she supposed. Regardless, she was still deciding whether she should help him or not. She guessed she should. She'd lost Brian at this point, so she could at least hang out with Teddy until she was able to retrieve her twin, wherever he'd wandered off to. The longer she could stay out of the dorm at this rate, the better - secret relationships seemed to be the soup of the day around VWE, and Yerin's freshly-dyed hair was going to end up grey by the end of a week if she spent too much time around it all.

Quite frankly, it terrified her - what was so special about dating that all those people - including her own group members, at this point - would think about jeopardising their careers for them? Nothing, that was what. They hadn't even debuted yet, and already... no, she didn't want to think about it. That was one of the many reasons why she wasn't in the dorm right then. She was meant to be keeping her mind off it, not thinking about it again. At least she knew she'd never be that stupid - wait, no. Now she sounded like Teddy. She'd only been around him for a few minutes, and she was starting to think in that horrible condescending tone that he always talked to her in? This was off to a bad start.

"Proud, huh?" said Yerin, resisting the urge to tell him that a well-placed kick to the throat would certainly aid in getting him a stutter, if that's what he wanted. "So does that mean you're jealous, since I've stolen your spot as a short twerp? Because that was you until... I don't know, but not that long ago. Also, I'm not short." Just to clarify. Because, you know. She was on the shorter side of average, but she was definitely... average. Right? Right. "Cute?" she repeated, wondering if she'd actually heard his cryptic words correctly, and then deciding to treat them as offensive ones just in case. "I am. I'm a fucking delight, I'll have you know. You should start being more appreciative of my company." she could almost hear her ballerina mother sighing in the background - she got riled up too easily these days when certain cynical friends were involved, and that brought out a not-so-cute or ladylike side that her mother wasn't a fan of. Good thing she wasn't around to see it, and if Brian was there, he'd definitely support her.

Oh yeah, Brian. Where was he, anyway? "I did not!" retorted the redhead. "Well, maybe a little, but I was only trying to be nice and say hi, and look at where that got me." a rude friend, that was what. "It's the least you could do, since it's kinda your fault that I lost - hey!" she'd started before realising fully what he'd said, and now that she did, she was less impressed with his helping hand - or helping hands, as they literally turned out to be when she found herself being pushed through the crowd like a human shopping trolley. "For the last time, I'm not short!" she said, her tone exasperated as she tried to drag her heels a bit to keep him from propelling her forward. His twiggy little arms couldn't have that much strength in them, right? Though her twiggy little legs didn't have much to be said for them, either....

Teddy just snorted and sneered. "I have better things to do than go to parties where people's idea of progress is getting drunk and making fools of themselves." As if Teddy would ever engage in such frivolity. He may have been an idol, but he was also an engineer and a scientist! And they expected him to be boisterous and social! When he would rather lock himself up in his room or the lab and do real work. He still hadn't figured out why he was killing himself with the decision to continue grad school and indulge in this 'idol' business he somehow got himself wrapped up in on the whim of insanity, but he wasn't going to give up his rational life for the world! They'd just have to deal with it!!

What was he talking about again? "Yes, I do, and I wouldn't have it any other way," he countered. "If I'm too boring, then people will naturally leave me alone." Teddy paused for a single second before continuing. "I don't know what the hell's wrong with you, that you keep bothering me like this, I can only conclude that you are either equally boring, or you like boring things, in which case, nyeeehhh~~" He concluded that assessment with all the logic of a child, sticking his tongue out and scrunching up his nose at her, and it felt good!

Of course she'd come to the false conclusion that Teddy was overly denying a fear of zombies to hide an actual fear, and no, that was just ridiculous, because zombies themselves were too ridiculous to be afraid of in the first place! He rolled his eye to show his disapproval at her assessment. At least she bothered to ask for the real reason why he was hiding, which he would've had no problem revealing if she bothered to inquire about it from the beginning. He leered at the crowd, searching for signs of his own nefarious bane. "A demoness. A pint-sized demoness on high heels and covered head to toe in cute animal print and flowers and frills, but don't you be fooled, it is nothing but a disguise to lure you in before she sinks her perfectly done pink nails into your skin and sucks the life out of you...." Yup, that was definitely the most accurate description of Andi.

He breathed. "Also known as, my sister." Had Yerin had the pleasure? No doubt they'd get along if they ever came face to face and Teddy half worried that Yerin might actively go looking for Andi just so she could meet and help torture Teddy... probably not. Yerin was a brat, but...

"Oh no, you got me," he replied haltingly, rolling his eyes up to the sky. "You have found out my secret. Now you will have to pay the price." He spoke like he was reciting poorly written lines to a very bad play... and that's all this was, some sort of act, because he definitely wasn't envious of her shortness. She was envious for not being the tall one anymore! "Uh-huh, keep telling yourself that," he countered, refusing to elaborate on that 'cute' comment of his. So maybe she was cute, but that didn't mean anything, it just meant that she was actually cute! And not a deception! Which Teddy was growing tired of being tricked by as of late. It was... refreshing, if you will, to be around someone as genuine as Yerin, even if she could be un-cute at times, and rowdy and vulgar, and a number of other things. But none of that meant anything! Nothing at all!!

Did not, yeah right. Her protests spoke more to him than... well, okay, seems like she fessed up... and somehow made it Teddy's fault. Yeah, Teddy stopped listening about halfway through that particular rant. Now that he knew better of what was going on, he could do something about it. "Would you like to go to the lost-and-found so we can call your mommy over the intercom?" he asked in a patronizing voice, leaning in close to her ear from behind, his tone like he was speaking with a lost little kid. Well, he practically was, considering how short she was. And her hissy fit. "C'mon, kiddo. What do you wanna do?" Yes, he was giving her the option. Teddy was so kind.

i'm all caught up in superstition
Yerin hated it when Teddy sneered at her like that. It gave her flashbacks to when they were kids and they’d first met - he had looked the same then, too, with that stupid face and that pretentious tone! Sure, he’d gotten taller and more handsome, but - wait, no, that wasn’t - no, she wouldn’t think like that. Even if it was true, it wasn’t like she thought about it or anything. It was just an observation, that was all! Like, maybe if she didn’t know how much of a jerk he was in real life, she’d think he was cool or whatever, but she did know, so she definitely didn’t think of him that way at all! ”Of course you do. Your idea of fun is sitting at home doing maths problems, right?” she said, tone thick with sarcasm. What was he doing being an idol with a personality like that? He’d be better off just being a boring accountant or something. Then she wouldn’t have to deal with him - not that she had to deal with him now. It just kind of... seemed to happen that she was always where he was, somehow or other. She didn’t intend for it to happen, it just did!

Yerin stuck her tongue back out at him, because apparently they were children again. ”Yeah well you always hang out with me anyway, so you clearly like a little fun, too. And I don’t like boring stuff, and I don’t like you, I just...” Well, she must have liked him a little bit, or she wouldn’t have wanted to go and say hi to him just then, and she had hugged him and everything like they were close friends or something. ”I don’t know.” she finished, averting her eyes with a small pout. It didn’t matter! What was it about him that always seemed to put her in a grouchy mood like this? It was like, right after they separated, she’d forget how dumb he was and go running right back! Brains were so stupid the way they would latch on to certain people and make your insides go all warm and fuzzy and make you want to see them all the time and when you weren’t with them you missed them and wanted to hang out, and when you did see them you were all excited. It didn’t make any sense, and Yerin was starting to get a little bit annoyed about it!

As Teddy began the description of what he was hiding from, Yerin’s brows raised ever so slightly. Ah yes, for someone that claimed to be boring, he sure did have a flair for the dramatic. She supposed that was why he was an idol on top of being a dumb boring handsome brat. Wait, what was that last bit? Never mind, it didn’t matter. ”She sounds delightful, when do I get to meet her?” Yerin teased. She didn’t necessarily think that Teddy’s sister sounded delightful based on that description, but it’s not like she trusted what he said anyway. He probably said the same things about her to other people! Besides, anyone that could help her get back at Teddy was A-okay in her book. She wasn’t sure what she needed to get back at him for - maybe for outgrowing her and becoming so good looking. She didn’t know. But something!

Yerin smirked at his (admittedly fake) admission, a small laugh escaping her. ”Oh no, don’t kill me! Please, I’ll do anything, I promise to keep your secret!” Okay, so maybe she had a flair for the dramatic, too, but she had grown up with Brian, and the two of them together had acted out more musicals and films in their living room than she could count, so.... ”You were the one that said ‘cute’, not me,”” She reminded him, refusing to let it go just yet. Even if he had said it as a joke, which was probably the case, she wouldn’t let it go that easily!

Suddenly, his voice was by her ear and she could practically feel his breath on her neck. Her shoulders rose defensively, and she turned her head to frown at him, only to see that his face was, admittedly, a little bit closer than she’d have liked it to be. Her face flushed in response, and she quickly faced forward again, crossing her arms in a mix of annoyance and defeat as she continued to be pushed along. She refused to respond to him the way he was speaking to her, so she merely did the only thing she could think of - stepped backwards onto his foot and waited for him to release his grasp on her shoulders. Who said this little twerp couldn’t fight back?

Teddy scoffed at her idea of his idea of 'fun'. "Not just any math problems!" he corrected. "Engineering math problems! The kind of stuff that builds things. Physics, mechanics, geometry, etc. it's a lot more than just 2+2=4, which is I bet all you can understand anyway." Well, it was all most other people understood, so he couldn't really fault her for that. "It's okay," he said, giving her head a gentle pat. "Most average people only understand that much, it's nothing to be ashamed of~" The head pat turned into him actually trying to grip her head like a basketball in one hand, forcing it to rock from side to side.

If she wanted to act like a child, then he was just going to act that way right back at her. It was only Yerin, after all! She wasn't anyone he had to worry about ruining his image towards, she already knew all his worst points, so he didn't have to fake a goddamn thing with her. Maybe that's why he kept....? "Who said you were fun? Maybe I like hanging around you because you're boring? And who said I like hanging around you? You're putting words in my mouth!" No, she wasn't, he was putting words in his own mouth. "Hmph, you don't like me, huh?" It's not like he cared or anything whether or not she liked him, and she was probably lying anyway, probably just saying things to get a rise out of him (and it was working!), but he wasn't going to take the bait, because he was much more sophisticated and mature! "It's not like I asked you to like me anyway..." he grumbled, turning his head away. No, it didn't bother him, he was just grumpy because this fight was stupid and childish and he had better things to do than bicker about stupid things!

"If you two ever met, then the world would end," he groaned, turning his eyes up to the sky as that scenario played out in his head. "I think I'd leave the country and become a hermit." Though even if he did that, he was sure Andi would track him down and force herself into his life again. He was going to be a slave to her forever, wasn't he? Not unless he kept running, which was what he was trying to do here.

Teddy snorted, somewhat amused by her dramatic reaction. Yeah, there was the cute he was talking about. Not that he thought she was cute or anything. "No, it's too late," he said in monotone. "I will now have to lead you off into the darkness and take good care of you.... I'm sure they'll find your body floating up the river in a couple days." That "lead into the darkness" line didn't quite come out like he intended.... oh well. "Fine, I take it back," he argued. "You're not even the slightest bit of cute, you're just a midget." And midgets weren't cute in the least, nope!

He really should have just left her there, but now that he knew that she was lost, Teddy wasn't about to leave her by herself. She might actually get lost or abducted or taken advantage of by some random guy in a pumpkin suit... not that he was worried or anything. When he leaned in close to her ear, he sneered right in her face when she turned to face him. What a reaction! He wanted to see it again! But before he could do the same thing to the other ear, a sharp pain shot through his foot as something (someone) slammed down on it with a surprising force. "Ahh, fucking----!!" Teddy started, cutting off his curse before he got through the whole thing. Stupid PG-13 requirements of an idol! So he pulled back from Yerin instead, kneeling down to cradle his toe, mumbling and grumbling. "You trying to break my foot? My fingers weren't enough, you have to go after my toes too??" Teddy stood quickly and with an, ominous look in his eyes. "You're going to pay for that," he said darkly, slowly approaching the short girl with a threatening, looming, bloodthirsty gaze.

i'm all caught up in superstition
Yerin frowned. She might not have been very good at maths, but that didn't mean she was stupid! "You can have fun with your dumb numbers, I'm gonna make award winning choreography!" Why did he have to go and be all impressive and good at academics and be an idol, anyway? Who even gave him permission to be like that, huh? And there he was, being annoying again, moving her head around like that. "Can't keep your hands to yourself, can you?" She had to force herself not to smile, but she didn't know why. She should have been angry!

Teddy was definitely more of a child than she was, even though he was older and bigger than her. He was still childish and twiggy too! One of them continued growing and the other one didn't, that was all. Maybe that was what she needed revenge for. Yeah, she'd definitely be trying to meet his sister if at all possible. If anything, just to see his face! But, admittedly, she didn't want to meet her tonight. Yerin kind of liked hanging out with just Teddy. It was nice. Not in a weird way or anything! She just didn't want to hear Teddy complaining about his sister, that was all. So it was better if they weren't found out. Yeah.

"You just said, that's who." Maybe she'd said too, but he was the one agreeing with her! He definitely just said he liked hanging out with her. Yerin heard it with her own two ears!! "I do!" Okay, she was way too quick at answering just then. She didn't care if he thought she liked him or not! And it wasn't like they were talking about that, anyway. Just being friends, or whatever! "I mean, I guess I do. And you're lucky, or you wouldn't have anyone else nearly as cool as me."

So what if he was probably just messing with her? Maybe he was able to get a rise out of her pretty easily, but it didn't matter, because at the end of the day Yerin would be the one who came out on top! Yeah! So take that! Besides, it didn't matter what he thought of her, because they were still together now even after their first meeting was her breaking his hand (accidentally), and if that wasn't a testament to their relationship, nothing was! ...Not like, that kind of relationship, of course. Or 'together'. Yerin was going to shut herself up now. As if she could do that to her mind. (She couldn't, apparently.)

"A hermit? I think I'd like to see that. You can go and do your stupid maths in a cave somewhere instead of rubbing it in my face that you're better than me." Things would get pretty lonely and boring if Teddy wasn't around, though. Maybe it was for the best that they avoided his sister for as long as possible. Even if it would be funny to see his reaction. He could be pretty cute when he wanted to be, too.

You know, objectively. Not in Yerin's opinion, of course.

Was it just Yerin's brain being weird, or had Teddy just - she couldn't help it, she burst out laughing. "Buy me dinner first," she said amongst the laughter and ignoring the fact that her face was a bit red. It was just hot in there, that was all. Lots of people and what have you. "A midget?!" Okay, now he definitely deserved having his foot stepped on. She definitely wouldn't feel bad about it now! Not that she would have in the first place. Especially after that sneer she got to see when he apparently noticed her reaction! There it was again, that horrible sneer that she hated so much!

"Seriously? All these years later and you still won't let that go? It was an accident, you idiot, you were the one with the-" apparently she wasn't about to let it go either, until she saw the look he was giving her. Yerin hadn't even realised she'd stopped talking for a moment as her eyes grew wider and she looked in a mild mixture of fear at the person in front of her. Teddy looked... ominous. She didn't think such a thing was possible. Usually when he was mad he just looked stupid, but...

She wasn't scared of him, and she'd totally been in the right. But just in case, Yerin took a couple steps back. Just in case.

"Oh are you? You really call that flailing stumbling thing you do choreography? Dancing? Ha ha ha!" Teddy posed with his hand on his chest, obviously proud of his intellect and the things he accomplished with it. "Maybe you'll get awards, but you'll never get the Nobel Prize for something like dancing. Unlike me." Though there was no certainty that Teddy would get that prize as well... but it was definitely more likely for him to get it in his engineering stuff than for her with her skittering across the floor!!

Teddy snorted at her taunt, resisting the urge to pull away at that implication. Two could play at that game! "Tell me to stop if you don't like it. Or are you in denial about something?" In denial about what exactly? Well, that was maybe a lot more direct and implicative than he intended, but tact was never very well defined in Teddy's vocabulary, so he simply cackled it off, as if it was nothing. Yup, it was definitely nothing, no reason for Teddy to get himself flustered for no reason now!

Though if it did happen to mean something, then would that be so bad? Did he even mind? Not completely, not really... She was just sorta cute to tease, that's all. So there wasn't even anything to be wondering about!

"Oh, did I? You must have been hearing things, have you gotten that checked lately, those voices in your head? They say they got really good treatment for that sort of thing these day, I may even decide to visit you in the loony bin." He was grinning at how clever he was with that one! Teddy was just one-upping her with every other phrase, it was great. Though when she exclaimed to him that she did, yes she did like him! Teddy felt a bit of awkward flutter inside him. After moping about over how she didn't like him, totally just faking his disappointment, the new just... it was just startling, that's all! Even if it sort of fixed his mood a bit, especially as she continued to elaborate more on the details of her 'like'.

Ha ha... trying to play it off as cool, huh? "You just think you're cool, and maybe you're able to trick everyone else, but you're not going to trick me. I know the Real Yerin, after all. The little spoiled brat you are behind the cameras, that you've been since you were a kid!" Not like Teddy wasn't just as much of a brat back then either. Actually, the both of them may be even bigger brats now, not just in relation to their sizes. The best part about dishing it out with a brat is that the brat knew they were a brat and nothing you could say about was untrue! Yerin was tough enough to take it, in either case! He'd giver her that too!

"I don't have to rub it in your face, you rub it in your own face just by seeing my face. I'd have to literally be faceless for me to not be rubbing it in your face!" Because that made a world of sense, and was the best comeback ever.

Gah, he knew he should have worded it differently, his attempt at being threatening (and joking a bit while he was at it) was definitely misinterpreted. Just roll with it, he told himself. Though... she really was cute the way she was giggling, blushing all red from that supposed implication. "Tell me what you want, when and where, and maybe I'll consider it." Did he just offer to take her out for dinner? No... maybe... kinda. Well, he wasn't going to back down if she wasn't!

"You broke my fingers!! You really expect a person to let that go?" Though really, this issue should have been resolved a long time ago, though yes, maybe Teddy was a little bit resentful that he had to go the rest of the summer with a cast over his hands. Definitely wasn't the most comfortable and everything was red and itchy and rashy when it got taken off!

Though maybe that was only a little bit of what fueled his ominous, threatening gaze. The rest was just him seeing how threatening he could actually be, and to see exactly what she did as he loomed closer and closer. A devilish smirk appeared when she took her steps backwards. "I'm gonna get you.... so if you don't like it.... you better run....!" If there was any place for her to run, that is, from whatever 'it' was.
